This past Monday, June 26th, Attorney Janeth Moreno spoke at an event in East Boston that was organized by the Veronica Robles Cultural Center. The event was sponsored by the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement and PAIR (Political Asylum/Immigration Representation). The event was held to inform the immigrant community that they do have rights and to educate them on what those rights are. In addition to providing the community with important legal information, Attorney Moreno also provided one on one immigration screenings to those in attendance to determine whether they could qualify for relief or have a defense against deportation.
