On Friday, Attorney Moreno joined a panel of United Nations Association in New York City to engage in a discussion on immigrants rights and changes in U.S. Asylum Law. This panel was organized in celebration of United Nations Day and focused on “Human Rights, Close to Home.” We want to thank the organizers and the SUNY Global Center for such a memorable event. Attorney Moreno highlighted the the rights of asylum seekers under international law and how those rights have been impacted by new U.S. policies.
